The pile stays soft through repeated washing, which counts when a jacket gets worn three days running. The hood pulls up the moment the weather changes, with nothing to unclip first. Two chest patch pockets sit flat against the front rather than pulling the sides out of shape. Light padding and a relaxed cut leave room to wear it over a hoodie.
