Minoti's black beanie is a cable knit hat with a ribbed cuff that turns up or down and an oversized faux fur pom-pom on top. Black works with every coat in the cupboard, so it leaves the house more often than the brighter hats. Cable knit gives the hat real body: it comes out of a school bag with its shape rather than as a flat disc. The cuff grips without digging in, staying put on the climbing frame. The pom-pom goes through the washing machine without matting.
