Minoti's black Fair Isle set is a three-piece knit of pom-pom beanie, pull-on snood and full-finger gloves in matching black, khaki and cream. The pieces go together without looking like a costume. The snood pulls straight over the head with no fastening to fiddle with, which counts when it is being done one-handed in a car park. The beanie's ribbed cuff stretches over the head and holds its shape, and the gloves have ribbed cuffs that grip the wrist so they stay on.
