Teenage Girls' Dungarees
Teenage girl dungarees here are sized for ages 8 to 15, for girls who have outgrown the younger ranges but still want the easy fit of a bib and straps. They go on in one piece, so there is no waistband to hitch up or keep tucked. Wear them with a T-shirt on warm days or over a long-sleeved top and jumper when it turns cold. For the wider range, see Rompers & Dungarees.
Measure her height and go by that first. Girls' dungarees for age 10 are usually 146 cm, and for age 11 they are 152 cm. Because dungarees cover the torso as well as the legs, a girl with a long body may need the next size up so the straps sit comfortably on her shoulders. Fabrics vary between styles, so check the care label before the first wash.
Your questions answered
MINOTI's teenage girls' dungarees are bib-and-brace dungarees for girls aged 8 to 15, sized in centimetres by height, and girls' dungarees for age 9 are usually 140 cm.
What size are girls' dungarees for age 12?
A 12-year-old usually takes 158 cm. If she is tall or long in the body, go up to 164 cm so the bib sits properly and the straps are not tight on her shoulders.
Can teenage girls wear dungarees in winter?
Yes. Layer a long-sleeved top or a thin jumper under the bib, and add tights or thermal leggings under the legs when it drops below 10°C, with boots and a coat on top.
