Minoti's black quilted gilet for boys is sleeveless with a fixed lined hood, so it layers over a hoodie without the bulk of a full coat. Arms stay free on the climbing frame while the body stays covered. The full-length zip runs up to a chin guard and opens fast after a run, and the lined hood has enough structure to pull up quickly when the sky changes. Side slip pockets are easy to find without looking down, and the quilting keeps the padding spread evenly wash after wash.
