Is a parka warm enough for winter?
This one is: it's padded with polyester throughout, the hood has a faux fur edge and the ribbed inner cuffs keep the wind out of the sleeves. On frosty days add a jumper under the zip.
Which size should I choose?
Choose her usual size by height, from 104 (3–4 years) to 172 (14–15 years). If she's between sizes or wears thick jumpers, take the bigger one.
Can the faux fur trim come off?
Yes. Take it off before washing or for a plainer hood; the hood itself stays on the coat.
How do I wash a glossy parka?
Wash it at 30 °C on a gentle cycle, inside out, with the zip and poppers closed, after taking off the fur trim. Skip the softener, don't iron the shell and dry it on a hanger.
What's the difference between a parka and a puffer jacket?
A parka usually has a bigger hood and more pockets, while a puffer is all about the quilted padding. This coat has both: a fur-trimmed hood, three pockets and a quilted glossy shell.
