Is it warm enough for winter?
The body, sleeves and hood are padded, and the ribbed inner cuffs keep the wrists covered, so it handles cold winter days. On frosty mornings, add a jumper underneath.
Which size should I order?

What are the pockets like?
Two long pockets run vertically down the front, each with its own zip. Vertical zips are easy to find and pull, even with gloves on.
Can it go in the washing machine?
Yes: 30 °C on a gentle cycle, zips closed, inside out, with a mild liquid detergent and no softener. Dry it flat or on a hanger and shake it now and then so the wide channels stay evenly filled.
How is it different from a narrow-quilted jacket?
Wide channels give a chunkier, puffier shape, and the long front pockets sit where hands naturally go. The plain colour makes it easy to wear for school and at weekends.
