How warm is a knee-length puffer coat?

Should I size up?
Take your usual size if you wear it over a jumper; size up only for chunky knits or blazers. It comes in XS, S, M, L and XL.
What is the glossy finish like to live with?
The shiny shell gives the coat its look, and light marks wipe off with a damp cloth. Keep the iron away from it, as heat can mark the surface.
Can I machine wash it?
Yes. Close the zips, turn it inside out and wash at 30 °C on a gentle cycle without softener. Hang it to dry and shake it out so the padding spreads evenly.
Does a long puffer make you look bigger?
The wide horizontal bands add some volume, but the straight knee-length cut keeps the line long. Worn open over dark trousers, this womens long padded coat looks lighter.
