Is a puffer jacket warm enough for a toddler in winter?
For everyday winter wear, yes: polyester padding, a plush lining in the body and hood and ribbed inner cuffs. On very cold days, or when she sits still in the buggy for a long time, add a jumper or a blanket.
Which size should I choose?
Sizes run from 80 (9–12 months) to 122 (6–7 years). Go by height; if she wears thick layers underneath, one size up gives her more room to move.
What is the popper placket for?
It covers the zip so the wind can't get through, and closing a few poppers is quicker than zipping up when you're in a hurry.
Can I wash it in the machine?
Yes, at 30 °C on a gentle cycle, inside out with the zip and poppers closed. Skip the softener and dry it on a hanger, out of direct sun, so the print keeps its colour.
What is the shell made from?
The outer fabric is 100% recycled polyester and the padding is polyester, so the whole jacket can go in the washing machine.
