Baby Girls' Raincoats

A baby girl raincoat keeps showers off during pram walks, nursery drop-offs and her first wobbly steps outside. MINOTI raincoats for baby girls run from newborn to 24 months. A raincoat is a shell, so it comes into its own in spring and autumn, when a padded coat is too warm but a cardigan on its own would get soaked. Each product page gives the fabric and how the coat fastens.

Sizes follow your baby's length, so measure her rather than going by age alone. A baby girl raincoat for 9–12 months is usually 80 cm. If she will wear it over a thick jumper, go one size up so she can still move her arms. Raincoat, rain jacket and mac all mean the same garment here. If you have a baby girl yellow raincoat in mind, check the colour on each product page.

Your questions answered

MINOTI's baby girls' raincoats are rain shells for girls aged 0 to 24 months in centimetre sizes, and a baby girl raincoat for 12–18 months is usually 86 cm, worn for showery pram walks and first steps.

What size raincoat does a baby girl need at 12-18 months?

Most babies aged 12 to 18 months take 86 cm. If she is tall for her age or will wear it over a jumper, 92 cm, the 18 to 24 months size, gives her more room. Measure her and check it against the size on the product page.

Does my baby need a raincoat if the pram already has a rain cover?

Under about 6 months, a pram rain cover usually does the job because she is lying underneath it. Once she sits up in a buggy or starts walking, a raincoat keeps her dry in and out of it. A 9-month-old usually takes 80 cm.
