Minoti's dark blue gilet is a quilted sleeveless layer with a hood that detaches, cut for the weeks between seasons rather than deep winter. Sleeveless through the body means a school jumper slides underneath without bunching at the shoulders. The padding is light instead of heavy, which suits autumn and spring mornings. The hood comes off when it is not needed and clips back on when the wind picks up. A full-length zip runs from hem to chin, with two inseam pockets.
