No. The drawcord is decorative and fixed in place. The waistband is elasticated.

It's a brushed-back fleece of 70% cotton and 30% polyester, soft on the inside and a good weight for autumn and winter. The ribbed neck has 4% elastane in it, so it goes over her head easily and springs back.
