Is this parka warm enough for winter?
Yes. It is padded throughout, lined with a check fabric and the zip is covered by a popper placket. If he sits still in a pushchair on frosty days, add a fleece underneath.
Which size should I order?
His usual size; if he's between two or you'd like it to last into next winter, go one up. Sizes run from 80 (9–12 months) to 122 (6–7 years).
Is the fur on the hood real?
No, the hood trim is faux fur in a natural brown shade. Brush it gently once it's dry after washing and it stays fluffy.
Can the parka go in the washing machine?
Yes: 30 °C on a gentle cycle with the zip and poppers closed and the parka inside out. Dry it flat or on a hanger; no tumble dryer and no iron.
What's the difference between a parka and a puffer?
A parka is cut as a coat with a trimmed hood and a covered zip, while a puffer is quilted all over. This one mixes both: a parka shape with quilted panels on the chest and back.
