What is a paperbag waist?
The top of the waistband is gathered with elastic into a soft frill, like the top of a paper bag. These paperbag trousers get their shape from that gathered waist and the rounded legs.
How does the waist close?
With one metal popper at the front; the waistband is elasticated, so they are quick to put on. The belt loops take a belt if you want one; no belt is included.
What is the fabric like?
A soft cotton twill with 2% elastane: girls' cotton trousers that look like chinos but give a little when she moves.
Which size should I choose?
Take her usual size. They start at 80 (9–12 months), so they work as baby girl trousers, and go up to 122 (6–7 years).
