Made to be handed down

The most sustainable kids' garment is the one a second child wears. So we build it to survive the wash, sell basics in packs so you buy once, and size it by height so a hand-me-down still makes sense.

Three decisions

Stitched to last

Channel stitching keeps the padding in place. Cuffs are elasticated. Hoods have no drawstrings, which is safer for children.

Bought once, worn all week

A school week takes five polos. One order covers it, and nobody runs to the shop on a Wednesday night.

Sizes that hand over cleanly

One size logic from 56 to 172 in centimetres. A 122 handed to a cousin is still a 122. Nobody has to guess what “6 years” meant three seasons ago.

Make it last: four habits

This is what our care labels say, in plain words.

  • Wash at 30 °C. Hot water fades colour and shrinks cotton.
  • Skip the tumble dryer. Heat wears out the elastane in waistbands and flattens the padding in jackets.
  • Iron prints inside out, up to 110 °C. A direct hot plate on a print is the fastest way to lose it.
  • Pass it on. Outgrown but intact goes to a cousin, a neighbour or a charity collection. Torn goes to textile recycling, not household waste.

What we don't claim

No percentages we can't prove, no certification logos we don't hold, no carbon figure worked out backwards. If a page can't show where a number comes from, the number shouldn't be on the page. When we have measured data on materials, factories or transport, it goes here with the date it was measured.
