What size should I buy for a 9-year-old who is growing fast?
A 9-year-old usually takes 140 cm. If they have shot up recently or are tall for their age, go up one to 146 cm. Measure their height without shoes and choose the size at or just above it.
How do I pick a size for a child I cannot measure, such as a niece or nephew?
Go by age and lean towards the larger size. A 4-year-old usually takes 110 cm, so 116 cm gives room to grow and is less likely to be too small. If you can, ask the parents for the size on a label that fits now.
