Girls' Pramsuits and Snowsuits
A girls' pramsuit is a padded one-piece for babies who spend winter in the pushchair, and the same idea carries on into snowsuits for girls who walk, climb and sledge. Each suit goes over her everyday clothes for time outdoors and comes off once you are back inside. Sizes run from newborn to 15 years, by height in centimetres.
Pramsuit and snowsuit mean much the same garment: pramsuit is the word used for baby sizes, and snowsuit for older girls. When choosing a girls' winter snowsuit, go by her height rather than her age and leave room for a jumper underneath. Take the suit off before strapping her into a car seat, because padding under the harness stops it fitting snugly. Each product page says whether that suit is showerproof or waterproof.

Which size girls' snowsuit should I buy for age 2-3?
Most girls aged 2-3 take 98 cm. If she is tall for her age, or you want the suit to last two winters, go up one to 104 cm, the usual size for 3 to 4 years, which gives room for thicker layers.
What should my daughter wear under a girls' waterproof snowsuit?
Two or three thin layers work better than one thick one: a vest or long-sleeved top, then a fleece or jumper. For a baby in 62 cm or 68 cm, a baby grow under the pramsuit is enough on most days. Take layers off indoors.
