How do I find the right hat size for a boy?
Measure round his head with a soft tape, across the forehead and just above the ears, then check the size on the product page. The hat should sit snugly with about 1 cm to spare, so it stays on in the wind without leaving a red line.
When should boys' summer hats come out for the season?
Once the UV index reaches 3 or more, usually from April in the UK, a summer hat is worth packing for school and the park. Keep one in his bag until the end of September, as sunny spells can still catch him out.
