Ribbed cotton jersey stretches and recovers instead of bagging out by the end of the day. The straight cut sits at the knee, which makes tights easy to add when it turns cooler, and the crew neck is wide enough to pull on without a fuss. Short sleeves keep the arms free, with no buttons or zip to manage.
