Boys' Rompers and All-in-Ones
Boys' rompers are one-piece outfits. The top and bottom are made as a single garment, so there is no waistband to slip and no top riding up at the back. That makes them easy for crawling, climbing and nursery days, and quick to put on in the morning. On warm days a romper works on its own, and when it turns cooler, add a vest underneath and a cardigan over the top.
Some shops call a romper a playsuit or an all-in-one, and all three names mean the same one-piece outfit. Go by your son's height rather than his age: a 4-month-old usually takes 68 cm and a 15-month-old 86 cm.
