Boys' Sleepsuits
Boys' sleepsuits are the simplest thing to put a child to bed in: one garment covering the body, arms and legs, with nothing to ride up or come untucked in the night. In the menu they sit under Rompers & Dungarees, next to the daytime all-in-ones. Younger children can wear them round the house during the day too, with a vest underneath when the evenings turn cold.
To pick a size, measure your son and choose the label at or just above his length. A newborn usually takes 56 cm, a 4-month-old 68 cm and a 15-month-old 86 cm. He should have room to bend his knees and kick, so size up if he falls between two. Some shops sell the same garment as an all-in-one. Fabric details are on each product page, and the care label tells you how to wash it.
Your questions answered
MINOTI's boys' sleepsuits are one-piece nightwear covering the body, arms and legs, listed in the boys' Rompers & Dungarees range for ages 0 to 15 and labelled in centimetre sizes that match a child's height.
What size sleepsuit should I buy for a newborn boy?
Most newborns fit 56 cm. Bigger babies, or ones you expect to grow quickly, often go straight into 62 cm, which covers 0 to 3 months. Measure him from head to heel and choose the size at or just above that length.
What should my son wear under a sleepsuit on a cold night?
A vest underneath is usually enough in a room kept at 16 to 20°C. For extra warmth, use a baby sleeping bag with a suitable tog instead of loose blankets. Feel his chest or the back of his neck to check he is not too warm.
